Poch comments after the semi have been interpreted in different ways, but maybe he feels a bit let down by the players? I mean he sets up a game plan and looks to be working in all 3 cup ties we lost, and the players have facked it up. Poch didn’t say to them “lads if we go ahead make sure you let the opposition back in and then fold like a pack of cards".... his interview to me looked like a man let down....and sick of it.... maybe just maybe he’s had enough and is thinking for the first time about backing away. He’s not blameless of course but just trying to see it from his perspective..... I mean I’m positive he wants to win a trophy just to shut everyone up about him never winning one

Winning the title is a temporary bragging right?
You think that Spurs with the last trophy in 2008 aren't trying to build to win the title that Leicester already did? Continued success, in what, the Arsenal 4th place trophy? Seriously, wow
It doesn't matter where CR is now....he won the title with Leicester. MP hasn't won a pot yet!
Spurs haven't won the League since 1961
Arsenal just spent 10+ years winning the 4th place cup and going out in Europe every time they played a decent team
You have to win trophies
The game is about trophies!

You've not only avoid my question whether you think Leicester are in a better position as a club than Spurs but you've also completely missed the point about continued success.
Did I say we are successful at the moment? And yes winning a title is a temporary bragging right if you are going to finish 8th for the foreseeable future.
You're only reinforcing my point when you mention Arsenal. They have also been financially outmuscled by the very clubs I've mentioned - namely Chelsea and City. Without further investment they will not have continued success only what they have achieved so far in their FA cup wins.
Which by the way is where we need to get to. Our next step is to get an occasional trophy and build from there into the goal of becoming consistent real challengers for titles.
As mentioned though - without the riches some clubs have been lucky to have that journey to the top is extremely difficult.

Teams like City & Chelsea spent a lot of money to try and bring them to the level of teams like Arsenal & United and compete
Arsenal were complacent and didn't react. However also, they'd had years and years to develop enough players to not have to spend huge sums to compete. They had a championship winning squad when Chelsea came along and just blew it
Or look at how many home grown players George Graham used to beat Liverpool to his titles
Fergie didn't spend crazy money to compete with and beat Chelsea & City. It was when he left that they went crazy
It's not all about money. You are talking about building consistency as challengers but that building work is actually about winning it! Leicester won it, they are by definition a PL winning team and in a better position currently than Spurs who have won nothing
If Spurs don't win something soon, they are in the position of replacing players, not improving the team and to what end?

I've usually a lot of patience but you're an absolute moron.
There are so many holes to pick in that drivel you've just written that it's not worth my time discussing with you.
Faakkkkkk me!

You have your opinion
Spurs need to win trophies. If that apparently isn't important then carry on
If you can't accept that those 2 clubs mentioned had to spend a lot of money to catch up the big clubs then I don't know how to explain it
Players will not stick around to win nothing. If you cannot accept that then put your head back in the sand and keep telling yourself Spurs are improving and everything will be fine
Arsenal got a shiny new stadium as well...that went well!

You see, your coming out with this but providing no solid rebuttal of anything that's been said so it's the standard petty juvenile insults
Well done you
Arsenal got a shiny new stadium, what happened?
You can win a title without loads of money...Leicester

Why don't you support Leicester then you imbecile?
That was a one-off and has been done with by the likes of Montpellier in France. Neither of those two clubs will see themselves compete at the highest level in the near future without significant investment.
Seems like you'll happily see Spurs finishing 8th every season for the next 20 years if it meant you could anal yourself with the Premier League trophy every night since.

FFS you can only live of one fluke win for so long. Not in a million years are Leicester in a better position than Leicester, who are destined for mid table mediocrity at best probably for the next 50 years or so.
Spurs are competing in the CL every season now, Leicester had one never to be repeated season in the sun. Absolutely no comparison between the two sides. On or off the field.
