Does anyone have any hope for Winks?

Before his injury he was looking really good, I remember the game against Madrid he didnt look out of place.

I think he was overrated due to the Madrid games and also his England debut. Headline games but hasn’t ever stood out more regularly in the bread and butter games vs Everton etc.

i like Winks but he lost confidence since getting injured.

Sandy I can remember many many times when he's broken up play, drawn one or two players out and then provided the ball in to our (now) free creators.

Not saying he has turned into a bad player mate, he hasn`t, but he will need replacing, if only because of his age.

He will be 31 by the start of next season, and going on 32 by the end. Not that old I know, but players of that age are rarely as good as those say mid to late 20s. Some are, but very few.

They’re still going down, they’ve only got 3 games left. Shame it didn’t work out for him with us though.
