On Saturday 28th April, League Champions, Wolverhampton Wanderers are throwing a party to celebrate their return to the Premier League. The party will be held at Molineux Stadium starting at 3 ‘o clock and you are all invited.
To mark the occasion, Wolves have also invited Sheffield Wednesday with whom they will play a football match to entertain the partygoers.
A rough timetable for party events is as follows:
Pre-match drinking
Singing of the Wolves’ anthem “Hi Ho Silver Lining"
Football
Shouting
More chanting and singing
Arm waving
Clapping and cheering
Leaping to feet when goals are scored
Half time interval.
Repeat all of the above.
At the final whistle, despite numerous pleas to the contrary from the tannoy announcer, there will be a pitch invasion where there will be much back slapping and kissing of Wolves players.
Hopefully, after all the on-pitch silliness has subsided the players will return to be presented with the Championship trophy at which point the capacity crowd will make so much noise that it will probably be heard in West Bromwich
Under the circumstances it is brave of Sheffield Wednesday to turn up as they obviously won’t be expecting to get anything from the game but it is to be hoped that their players and fans alike will be able to soak up and saviour the atmosphere.

Not sure if Wednesday fans are in the Bully lower or north bank, usually a good atmosphere when the Owls come to town though. Wonder of Tango will be allowed in, seem to recall he got chucked out last season or one before.
