Is Poch Considering His Future?

http://metro.co.uk/2018/04/24/mauricio-pochettino-considering-ditching-tottenham-real-madrid-7494682/

We know they want him.

Klopp hasn't won anything being nearly 3 years at Liverpool either, and has spent more in that same number of transfer windows he's had so far.

Klopp has done better in cups and European ties, whereas Poch has done better in the league. I wouldn't say the one has shown the other up. That may change depending on the outcome of the CL.

Poch has brought about a degree of stability we lacked under other modern day managers. He supports youth players (which is just as well) and he ticks most of the favourable managerial boxes. Like a few on here I really think he struggles with 'plan b' though but I guess we don't see what is going on behind the scenes. Before the Utd match I posted an article re playing Vorm as I had a feeling he would. I also wondered if the previous game starting Toby was a sign he would play a back 3. I don't know if playing Hugo and Toby would have changed the result any but if you play your strongest team both would / should have featured and regardless of Toby's contract. As for Madrid, it wouldn't surprise me if they took Poch in a concerted effort to pluck some of our other crown jewels. Poch does form very close relationships with some of his players after all.

If Madrid come for him he is gone.

Depends on if Madrid want him.

Always remember the club is bigger than any manager (Billy Nick aside), whatever happens in the future, the club will survive. Not as if the trophies are exactly flooding into WHL under Poch is it?

Servive is not what I'm interested in, Sandy.
I want us to WIN something.

BTW, I don't see how Pochettino can be a candidate for Real Madrid give his current record at Spurs - he's won nothing.

Poch will be at Spurs till he's 70 and win 4 FA cups and 2 league titles.

That's not a lot of winning for such a long time!

oh but he did lead us to one draw and victory over Real in the group stages. Yes Pochettino COULD be a candidate for Real Madrid.

But Just suppose Real wins the European Championship this year. How could a manager who has never won anything be considered to take over from Zidane?

It would only be a possibility if they lose to either Bayern or .... you know who!
