Is he injured or out of favour or under some 'don't play him cos we'll have to pay Watford more money' thing????
I think at left back there was an argument for Fozzy or Olsson over him but at wing back I feel like he could offer us something here if we continue with 3 at the back, he can definitely stretch defence's more than Olsson, crossing from both is a little hit and miss but surely this system is more naturally suited to the Kech than the Ols, Foz, Y or TL????
If we're looking for an extra 5-8% in the run in could he possibly offer us something here, I think it'd be at least worth a look??

Vidal that's how I saw it. Huddz spent quite a lot of time playing centre half while Keogh rampaged forward starting attacks and frightening the bluebirds.

You must have been very impressed with Tom Lawrence, VC. Another fine performance from our talismanic Welshman.

Vidal. Lawrence’s revival is going to be key. He’s found out he can tackle as well as dribble. He’s become an asset without the ball not a liability.
Really impressed with his attitude of late.

Yes he is playing better now but other players haven't had as many chances as him. It's funny how a fluky goal against Preston had woken him up.

If Carson let in a free kick like Maxwell did we would be hopping mad, this bit of luck seems to have given Tommy a bit of confidence thank God. He had been a total waster till then and looked like poor old Mel had blown another £7 million. Maxwell hasn't played since, so I think their manager agrees with me.

This time Lawrence is my impact sub.
Basically the wing backs need to track back... so not Lawrence... and with Palmer and Lawrence either side of Huddz I fear his immobility would be grievously exploited by Villa each time a rams attack broke down.
So since I've been feeling Palmer deserves a start...
Also if Vydra can suck up being used as an impact sub, so can Lawrence.
