From a lazio fan
To Liverpool FC and to all its fans.
I'm truly sorry.
I really have no words to comment on yesterday's horrible events. And I do feel guilty too. And many many others like me. Because we knew it.
Because it was nothing new to them to do something like that.
Because almost 40 years ago they killed one of us, a family dad, an innocent man hit in the face by a rocket launched by one of them, minutes before the game.
And they insulted this man and us for years... for decades... with chants, banners... and NOBODY, not the media, nor the league had ever issued any kind of penalty upon them.
Still today, when they lose against us, somebody start that horrible chant, wishing 10, 100, 1000 dead laziali. But it is not over yet. They did it again. Four years ago, not centuries. They were even not involved in the game.
The city hosted a cup's final and 2 other clubs were going to play. On our TVs we watched guerrilla scenes in the streets close to the stadium involving AsRoma fans again.
And guess. One of them, thought to use his gun and suddenly stop the life of a young kid, his only fault? Being a fan of one of those two teams. And guess what... yes, you guessed right. No penalty was inflicted to the club. Nothing. Again. And... wanna laugh? I know, there's nothing to laugh about... they celebrated this kill as well with banners and stickers. Please, don't even ask the question "did the league issue any penalty against them?" Don't ask, you know the answer.
And now, they move abroad... they killed, well, hopefully not. They hurt some Liverpool fans. They used the violence again. It is in their blood. They did it for ages. Different generations, same attitude. I'm sorry. I feel guilty because we all knew it. Their board members and "hero" players of the past, raised their middle finger on your logo, so who do you think to deal with? Please, Liverpool, accept the apologies from each and every italian, from each and every fair and normal fan, because we knew who they are. But nobody told you earlier enough to save that guy's from being hit, again, by them.

UEFA say they’ve been powerless to act against Roma’s serial stabbers because past attacks haven’t been in the “vicinity” of stadium, so legally cannot sanction club. But violence at Anfield was literally right outside Kop, so interesting to see what they do now
Italians seem to get away with it all the time. Utd fans, Liverpool, Middlesbrough fans have all been attacked in Italy and nothing done about it.

Lazio fans are arguably bigger but jobs than Roma fans

Watched the bunch of Liverpool thugs wearing black jackets with hoodies attacking someone outside the stadium. When others came to the rescue they took off like the cowardly thugs that they are.
btw: Where the hell were the law enforcement personnel? Are they all Liverpool season ticket holders and were they already inside the stadium?

Paisley,
I thought that you were dead? Ah, it must be close to the "marchin" season again. Why can't you stay on topic, or better still, place your head where the sun don't shine!
