IMO OF COURSE WORTHY NOMINEES ALL BUT IF BRENDAN WAS IN HIS 1ST YEAR IT WOULD BE A SLAM DUNK

Celtic have lost 3 domestic games this season. One each to Lennon and Clarke. Considering the resources available and the fact we`ve complained most of the season about our performances, I could see it going to either of them. At the same time, if we were to win a second Treble in a row, it would be a bit weird not to give it to Rodgers. At the time of the awards though, he hasn`t won the treble so.....
Also, the job Ross has done at St Mirren is fantastic. All 4 are very good choices and each one would be a worthy winner.

If we were to win another treble then Rodgers deserves it but the votes were cast 2 weeks ago so arguably he's not deserving of it
Not sure why they don't do the votes in the lead up to the Scottish cup final week at least and it gives a better idea of how everyone has done.

Who cares who wins a meaningless bauble?
As a great man once said 'The dogs bark and the caravan keeps going’.

I would say the obvious question is which of these managers would you say has improved his team significantly this season and who has over achieved with the resources that they had available to them.
No-one could really accuse Brendan of either of those.
The award is not called Most improved team under their manager of the year award.
Manager of the year awards are rightly won by the most successful managers that season.
Should Celtic win another treble then Rodgers is clearly deserving of it but if he didn't then you could argue Clarke's had a more successful season with Killie and Lennon with Hibs depending on their final league standing positions.

Agreed, the manager of the year should really just be given to the team that wins the league!

Ffs , it's not rocket science
The manager of the year should go to the manager that's performed the best
Wether that's because they have significantly improved a team or won something is upto the judges to decide
And agree with Steve ...any of them could win it ...all worthy and likewise with regards Steve Robinson who's done a brilliant job
