Striketeam7, I think you may be wrong. I think he will be with us next season, at least.
More importantly, I wish SAF a speedy recovery from his brain surgery, even though he is a Manc through and through.

wish we were more like Spurs in that respect, and have players all born within 5 miles of the ground.

Flipping Nora, talk about over reaction. Me saying Salah is not a scouser, does not translate to Liverpool need to be more like Spurs and only have players who were born within spitting distance from Anfield.
Salah has no greater affinity with Liverpool FC or the area than he did with Rome or Roma. Unlike Carragher and Gerrard for instance.

Klopp and Liverpool have had a huge hand in making Salah the player he is today.
Winning personal accolades for which he thanks the team for.
Yeah he left Basel to further his career. After that move though it wasn't him kicking up a fuss and wanting to leave.
But I'm glad he did.

Yep Liverpool have nurtured him through the last 10 months, not 10 years

And what a difference it has made. Shows what a manager willing to engage with a player in developing them can do.
Salah, Firmino, Mane, Ox, Robertson, are all recent buys and all playing to a higher standard than when they were bought.

When have we ever sold a player immediately after having a good season? We kept Suarez, Coutinho, Alonso for longer than expected. Salah will probably leave at some point, nobody stays for ever but it won't be this season.
We can quite simply say no. That's the joy of contracts.

As of the club would let him leave less than a year into his contract. If he even mentioned he wanted to leave the club would negotiate at least another season out of him, followed by a huge fee.
It also depend on if he keeps his form up next season.

Liverpool are multiple league and European Cup winners. Getting there won't be enough for them, nor will it be for Madrid.
Doesn't change the fact that reaching a CL final is a bigger accomplishment than winning a domestic cup. Twist it any way you like.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes exactly, Liverpool are multiple league and European cup winners - your words, not multiple league challengers and European cup finalists.
Winning is what it's all about, very suprised to hear a scouser argue differently
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And yet I remember us being in the final and losing in 2007. Apart from the double winning FA Cup side in 86, I struggle to remember exactly which years we won it.
Don't get me wrong, winning trophies is what it's all about, but a CL final is more memorable than winning the FA Cup, because it's so rare.
