I know our lot can be bad at times but taking a gander at their board can make for some amusing reading.
All season they’ve been giving it the big one with some saying they’ve been the best team in the league over the past three seasons and trying to wum the United and Liverpool boards (they actually have an ongoing war with the Liverpool board)
Now, after losing to United in a game where Spurs traditionally bottle it and having one or two less than amazing league results they’re panicking and the leader of their board ‘Sandy’ is now questioning whether or not Poch is the right man for Spurs.
Spurs fans, never change 👌

We make up for that by competing against (and in many cases finishing ABOVE) the other 5 clubs who pay DOUBLE the wages.
..............
If that is what really makes you happy. I know a couple of Spurs fans who are old school. They are not content with such an attitude.

But of those five fanbases Spurs fans are on the shakiest ground because they've not won anything in a decade.

We’re still waiting for you to pay backdated alimony
............
Wait all you like. No mother should be supporting her child when he is 40.

Of course I would love to get over the line as it were but quite frankly anyone criticising our model and league finishes in today’s game ain’t really worth the time.
................
It is the fact that you keep bottling it, and not getting over the line, that people are having a go at you for.
Not paying the same wages as the teams around you is an excuse you can only keep peddling for so long.
After all, Leicester did win the title on a much smaller budget you lot have.

Can't say that Spurs haven't done very well in recent years though VC based on the budgets of their peers.
And they looked far stronger in the CL this year, all steady progression and their top earner is on what 110k or so and he's one of the leagues best players.
Needs to change of course for them to sustain the regular top 4 finishes, they can't and won't sustain regular CL appearances if the wage structure isn't overhauled to be more aligned to the clubs also challenging.

True VC, do think Spurs get a bad rep on here based on a few fans on here

Kneerash I honestly like your attitude but it's not been just a few fans with the Spudlings.
On a thread a couple or so weeks ago we named 10-12 certified and you couldn't disagree with any names. I'll try to find the thread.
Fact is, Spurs fans were on a rampage and have been swatted down after losing to Juventus and their board being on the end of a series of nuclear wums.
They won't want that again so I'd say lesson learnt but I don't think any board has had as many idiots as the Spurs board this season.
