I see netflix are doing a series on the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, much like their making a murderer series.
It's always been an odd one hasn't it, the economic inequalities of it all for a start. Being doctors its fine that they left their children alone to go off with their friends yet i see a couple has been arrested for doing something similar just a few weeks ago. Neither are right but had the McCanns been junkies they would have had their kids taken from them and jailed.
Then there is the manner of the disappearance, i've never seen anyone on tv having lost a child so composed, its as if he does all the talking and she has to keep her mouth shut.
They are responsible for the disappearance of their daughter, wether she died by their hands or was taken, their irresponsibility caused this.
I hope she is found one day and i am proven wrong tbh, but everything about those 2 annoys the schite out of me.

If any normal person had a child ‘taken’, they would be in utter distress. I can’t imagine continuing if your child was taken.
What was she, 3 years old?

I understand that to a degree, but they have 2 other kids and at some point real life kicks in.
I don’t have much time for them-I think as a minimum they were grossly negligent and selfish in their actions, but no one knows exactly how they would react in that situation and what they do to cope behind closed doors.

I think they were told not to break down in front of the cameras by the police.
I think that’s standard advice when parents are put in front of cameras when it’s a missing child.
I think that Kate always looks like she’s on Valium or something when interviewed.
I don’t think they harmed her, just made a mistake that will haunt them forever.
It seems crazy in these times but it was only a few generations ago that parents did leave their kids alone.
Parents used to leave their kids in prams outside the shops, kids used to be left outside boozers whilst their old man was getting bevvied.
Tragic story.
