Your preference for the Top 4

Now that we've secured top 4 completely comfortably and with the minimum of fuss, I wondered which club spurs fans would most like to see grab the other spot out of Chelsea and Liverpool?

Chelsea are long time local rivals, and have had a lot of success including directly at our expense in recent years. It's very rare I want them to succeed in any aspect whatsoever.

Liverpool and their fans have generally been a bit annoying this year, despite having the best player in the league this season. It would be kind of funny if they finished 5th and lost the CL final (I personally think they'll win).

Also the bizarre Spurs/Liverpool rivalry on this board kind of skews things a bit.

So who's your preference for the last spot in the top 4?

(Also am I the only one who imagines there's still half a chance of us finishing 2nd? A 1-0 loss for Utd and a 1-0 win for us would be enough o do it, and they have a cup final to distract them.....)

its what you do with THAT CL place that counts ,we get to finals , some clubs just make up the numbers

Down to luck too!

FC Maribor and a local side in Man City plus two good frat from Roma. Not forgetting the dreadful refs.

Liverpool got there very much on a nice little fixtures and kind of reminds me of Chelsea when under Roberto Di Matteo when they made it by fortunate incidents and winging it

Enjoy because you’ve gone be back to being below Spurs and flukey doesn’t always pay

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh no, we’re a couple of points below Spurs! Guess we will console ourselves with a Champions League final.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Losing a final means exactly the same as getting knocked out in the Prelimanary Stages, it is like finishing 2nd in a league. Means absolutely nothing. People only remember winners.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why are you assuming we will lose? We may well do but it’s silly to assume it. Then again you thought we’d not only lose to Porto, but also lose 5-0 to City over two legs.

We might lose. Or we might not. My point was we’ve got a massive game and brilliant occasion to look forward to. I didn’t say we will console ourselves with the Champions League trophy.

When I first read this my first thought was ‘couldn’t care less, we’re in it so that’s all that counts’, but now that I’ve had a chance to think about it.... definitely want Chelsea to miss out.

I haven’t forgotten 2012 and I’m sure I never will.

Watched their game last night and the ending of the game was eerily similar to our game there just over 2 years ago. Huddersfield took a leaf out of their book from that night and decided that they were delighted with a point and would rather knock their free kick from within shooting range into the corner just to waste some time - karma.
