It's only speculation and paper talk I know, but an interesting slant in the Guardian that Rose might not go to the Word Cup this year. Argument to be made that the four full backs who go will be:
Walker
Trippier
Bertrand
TAA
I'm a big fan of Rose. Don't want to see him leave the club, and, despite his recent injury record, I still believe their is a quality, swashbuckling full back in there that Poch can get the best out of.
That said, there is a bitter farking irony behind shouting your mouth off in the press pre-season, then essentially playing so little you don't even make the WC squad when you were a nailed on starter. It's not as if England have suddenly unearthed a gem of a LB in the last year (like TAA at right back).
If Rose does leave can he be confident he'll be attracting the offers he would have received last year? Obviously I'd prefer to sell abroad, but if you look at City (Mendy) and Chelsea (Alonso) you'd say that only United and Liverpool might need him. For me I just don't see Liverpool going for him, and christ, Jose would ruin him.

At no age he'd want to move to a bigger club. Everton would be going backwards

You've named 3 right backs and one left back. Dn't know where you're getting your info from but it's defo incorrect. If Rose doesn't go it'll be because Southgate goes with Bertrand and Young. The right back slot will be contested mostly by Walker and Trippier, unless Walker plays on the right of a three in which case TAA may come in but to suggest that those are the only 4 full backs is moronic.

Actually, I don't think TAA will be in the squad. Even if Walker and Trippier both play together, if Trippier gets injured Walker will fill the RB role. I think they'll be the only RB's he'll take, especially as he needs more cover in the centre of defence. TAA is good but he's not there yet. There's a reason he gets targeted. Man City did it, then Roma did it. He still has a lot to learn defensively.

The source is in the OP - the Guardian. And it's not incorrect as it's an opinion.
No one has suggested they are the only four full backs. The context of the OP is to show how far DR has fallen this season - demonstrated by main stream newspapers suggesting he might now not go WC.
You melt.

He stood up to it did aswell as you can expect from any player really. He deserves to be taken but wouldn't expect him to get much game time.
As for the OP why would Liverpool need him? Be good back up to Robertson i guess, definitely an improvement on Moreno.

Also he was experimenting with 3 at the back and Walker being one of them too wasnt he?

My point is that, even if it is just the Guardian's opinion, you can't list 4 full backs, 3 of which are right back, and claim that as evidence for his not going to Russia. You have to list credible alternatives at left back to make that argument. If they'd said Bertrand and Young they might have had a point but they didn't, rendering the article imbecilic and without credibility. Only one player on that list plays in Rose's position. It's like saying "Rose faces a tough time getting in the squad for Russia because of the form of Kane, Sterling and Vardy."
How can anyone take an opinion seriously if it's hugely flawed? Mind you... you did, otherwise you wouldn't have written this. By association that makes you as imbecilic as the original article... you melt!!!!

What an unpleasant person Fridgeboy is.
Plenty of fullbacks can play both flanks so it’s not completely mad to suggest those 4 in the squad.

Good point. Forgot about Robertson. I'd suggest Rose is still the better player atm but his progress suggests there isn't a need for them to buy another LB.
Point well made - just leaves United then!

Wow. Ok. You've really misunderstood the OP.
The four players listed were by the Guardian - not my list. No where have I said it's evidence he's NOT going to the WC.
It alsi wasn't to list all English LBs who are better than DR.
The point of the OP was to show that even the mainstream media are having concerns about his WC place - regardless of options they then list.
I'm sure in the last England game Trippier ended up at LB so let me throw you that bone.
These concerns highlight how badly his season has gone, which is in dramatic contrast to the noises he was making over the summer.
