Well then. Here's an interesting development - St Etienne's prospective new owners are apparently sounding out Puel and Arsene Wenger.

It would probably be the right move for all parties if he did leave. He's clearly a good manager whatever some might believe, but his style of play is better suited to a slower, more technical league like France. I could see him doing well there.
