Liverpool haven't always been. a massive name in football. When I started watching you were a second division team, with not much in the way of history. Shanks and Sir Bob changed that.

Yes, but Spurs are guaranteed nothing again. Liverpool don’t have the squad to compete at the highest level in every competition yet and CL priority is the only reason for your extra 2 points.

A CL final place turns more heads than finishing 3rd in the league.

Ask yourself this.

Would you rather have finished 3rd and you’re season be over or finished 4th and be in the Champions League final?

The same for Man United. Busby the ex lfc captain made your club challenging for honours and after that you were a club fighting relegation and were relegated at the end.

Spurs on the other hand have always been a mediocre average club.

Also lfc had won more leagues titles when they were in the second division.

There are some really decent spurs fans on this site but there are a lot of idiots .any objective assessment of this seasons performance and prognosis for next season would say that Liverpool have had a good season and apart from city are best placed for next season , where as Chelsea arsenal and spurs all look like next year will be a struggle with new Managers or loss of key players .
