Penalties - Both For And Against Us

There have been so many of our legitimate claims refused and so many harsh decisions against us this season. It’s been an unusual season for us in that regard. There’s normally a margin of error you can understand but it’s nearly every call this year!

If you’re so knowledgeable on the decisions you think went in Liverpool’s favour, why not mention the ones that didn’t?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The OP is about decisions gone against you or not given, moaning that it is unfair. I just showed you 6 decisions in your favour. Which you lot conveniently seem to dismiss/forget/ignore*

*whatever fits the bill
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You just trot out the cliches. I’ll bet you’ve not watched enough of our league games to actually be able to have a qualified view on whether this article is accurate.

But I guess that’s not important on here, is it?

typical football fan point of view is this article.

any stats to confirm this?

we all do it I know mate, don't worry, I'm a Leeds fan, I cling to these sorts of things

Which stats are you looking for? Companies don't provide stats on correct/incorrect decisions.

It's a legitimate claim this season. We have had a woeful season in terms of decisions going against us which started from the first game when Watford scored an offside goal to draw the game in injury time. Here are some examples you can Google for footage.

Watford - clearly offside goal given Against Draw

Burnley - Salah denied penalty Against Draw

Leicester - Vardy kicks Matip, dives, and somehow wins a freekick, resulting corner played beyond extra time, okazaki fouls mignolet during corner as they score. Against Win

Brighton- softest penalty of all time Against Win

Everton - second softest penalty of all time Against Draw

WBA - Solanke goal wrongly disallowed Against Draw

Spurs. Offside dive penalty given Against Draw

Newcastle: Clear Red card on Salah not given Against Win

Palace: Mane gets tripped in the box, exaggerates contact, dive. Against Win

West Brom- Ings: clear penalty denied, hegazi punch, hegazi slap, karius fouled first goal, incorrect free kick(no foul) for second goal Against Draw

Stoke: Clear handball in penalty box not given Against Draw

It got a bit silly didn't it?! Unbelievable.

Anyone who watches our games knows the penalty decisions both wars have been erratic, we’re not moaning and not saying we don’t get luck etc.

I’ve just noticed a lot of disparity and inconsistency between this season and previous years.

We’re not all just making this us, even after our games...you’ll see pundits pointing the decisions out.

The United away game was a shocker
To I’m sure we should have had at least 2 pens in that one. Spurs at home annoyed me a lot. But that ref for the Brighton game was seriously the worst performance of an official I have seen in a long time for decisions against us.

I was wasted watching the United game and don't care to watch it again but my thoughts at the time were that they were better than us and deserved the win. I don't remember any poor decisions against us. I'm sure there are many I missed but it's certainly clear from anybody who has watched our games this season that we have been on the receiving end of poor decisions on more occasions than is normal in one season.

Salah got rugby tackled by Young and there was a handball not given.

I'd about 15 beers in me before the game ended to be fair.

United deserved their two goals by cleverly exposing our weaknesses. However they spent the second half camped out in their own box. At the very least we deserved a draw. Two stone wall pens not given though that second half by us was as good as we have played a half of football at Old Trafford considering how good they are defensivly at home right now.
