Vardy reached the magical 20 again with a brace in the crazy final day at Wembley (could have completed a hat-trick in the last minute). The next highest outside of the top 6 was Brighton's Glenn Murray with 12.
Mahrez also scored 12 while also assisting 10 others - double figures in both goals and assists for a season.
Meanwhile, Mahrez to Vardy is the most prolific combination in the Premier League this season, with 7.
I think back to all the times we've talked as a fan base about wanting a 20-goal-a-season player, and that was at Championship level, never mind Premier League.
I only hope everyone's appreciating this while it lasts.

Smith and Lineker Nev?
Vardy's brilliant, he's adapted at every level and met every challenge - nobody's laughing any more at the thought of him being in the England squad. To think he's managed to get 20 goals when starved of chances for a large part of the season - quite outstanding.

I think Vardy’s shooting accuracy is around as well meaning that every other shot hits the target (I believe his ratio of accuracy and shots on targets to goals is the best of the top scorers - certainly top two or three) and of his shots that hit the target, more often than not they go in - I reasonable estimate is that of 35 shots that have hit the target, most go in.

Vardy is a great player. Glad that he is proving wrong those idiots that claim he was a one season wonder wrong, there were a lot of bitter spurs fans saying that. Top player and very likeable too

Worrying delusion from Puel or just an excercise in interview PR 101? In his interview he suggests Vardy should be thankful for the great service he receives for his goals and the team need to keep giving him that.
What service Puel?????? Is this just Puel spreadingt the praise across the team, or is his really that blond to the fact his tactics have isolated Vardy and near nullified any threat he brings?
“After that Jamie needs good service and I think the play we can produce gives him good opportunities.”
“It is a good feeling to score 20 goals with the quality. I hope in the future we can continue to give him good service and a lot of goals.”

This would be Claude Puel - the same manager that thought Morgan and Simpson had improved so you shouldn't be surprised Mersey.
(Claude Puel, address Planet Zog, fourth rock from Alpha Centauri where he was brought up playing ball-the-foot until snapped up by a fellow countryman to ply his trade in France).
