Feeling pretty good about all things LFC right now.
CL football for successive seasons for the first time since 2010.
One of the youngest squads in the competition this season making it to the final.
Stability on and off the pitch, great team spirit in the group and while we will lose Can we look set to keep everyone else we want to this summer with Salah already pledging his future to the club.
We have finished 4th two seasons running but next season I see no reason why we can’t look for the top 3.
Winning the PL will be very difficult due to the age and resources of the City group but becoming a regular top 3 club looks possible to me over the next few years.
Chelsea are unstable and no longer spend like it’s going out of fashion. They continue to be a threat but have no consistency at the club. Arsenal have fallen off a cliff and may take some time to recover post Wenger, with apparently no big name manager due this summer and a squad in need of major surgery.
Spurs have a new stadium to look forward to but the recent splurge of quotes from Pochettino suggest all is not well, with rumours of up to 4 first team squad players set to depart. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if he walked this summer which could throw them into disarray, but we will see what happens.
Win or lose against Real this has been another season of progress for us, and if we can continue our recent hot streak in the transfer market this summer then there is every reason to think we can establish a base camp in the CL places for the foreseeable future, which didn’t look likely not long ago.
What’s more is that we gain big money from being in the CL because we are often so damn good at it. I always fancy us to get to the last 8 (at least) as we have done in 6 out of 11 goes at the modern European Cup. I’m not sure any other English club can boast reaching the last 8 in more than 50% of their attempts at it, and certainly not over 25% in the final itself.
More money means higher wages, bigger fees and better players.
It’s all good.
Looking up

Great, Tip-Top, here's the "we've beaten teams who actually win things" trophy. You can put it next to Kane's silver boot and Dribble d'Or.

Liverpool and Real Madrid both took a hiding from us at Wembley and couldn’t beat us at their own grounds
The CL Final should be an entertaining spectacle of kamikaze football

Yeah well done.
Hope you enjoy the final.

All of this Poch Leaving is media BS. He has said several times before he is taking us into the stadium. He just wants a bit more risk when it comes to transfers which, in all honesty, most fans want as well.
As for the four players, Alderweireld and Rose haven't played most of the season so wouldnt class them as current 1st teamers. Dembele is becoming very injury prone and not sure who the 4th one is.

It's been a great season and luckily we got our iffy chit out of the way fairly early in the season and since the Spurs result we have been right up there in the league, both performance wise and results.
Kudos to Klopp, the rest of the coaching staff & the players on the system change that not only saw us become relatively defensively sound but still managed to maintain our attacking vigour.
We can play the patient game so damn good its unreal to me sometimes but if needs be, we can really switch it up to our 'heavy metal' game and just run any team into the ground really. Our in-game management has arguably been our biggest improvement this season. You can actually pin point this moment to the Porto away result. In recent memory I've never seen us so focused and so in control of a game and ever since that result the wind has been in our sails and we haven't looked like stopping.
There's always room for improvement but I have real appreciation for what the club has done this season and may this recent cohesiveness from the board, to the management, to the players and the fans...long may it continue.

The club feels like one united force again. Things are really looking up for us.
