10 years ago today since Tommy Burns died.
Such a shame he was robbed by cancer at the age of just 51.

Great posts - well done to the Bears who remember the man and not the strip he wore
Also. let's not forget that Lisbon Lion Bobby Murdoch, another Celtic great, passed away on this date in 2001 aged only 56

FFs stevie....was that all the age he was. 56.
Have got to know his wife over the past few years....she sits in the lounge with us. A very nice lady.
Can completely remember the great man as a player. That was sheer class....when he was fit and on his game there were few better.
Souness always speaks very highly of Murdoch...really puts him in the very top drawer of midfield players.

Mags Bobby was the youngest Lisbon Lion. Legend has it that he picked up an ankle injury in Lisbon and it was never 100% for the remainder of his career. What a player he was, despite that.
Curly I can't think of a single current OF player (possibly Tierney if he stays for a good few years) who will be looked upon with half the affection that the likes of TB, Sandy Jardine etc. are

CS
I love Broony as our captain - but I wouldn't necessarily like to have a pint with him
