You would think that two of the richest clubs in the world would step in to help their fans.

I’d say the blame is more with UEFA. They must have known about the travel issues when they chose the place.

Absolute madness that Kiev is holding the final, fans are quite right not to Travel there.

Finalist usually come from the big 5 leagues UEFA should just have o e arena and play there all the time.

I reckon it should be Hampden too, no chance of a scottish club making a final.

I don’t agree with only playing in Western Europe, but surely a list of suitable stadia could be chosen at say the QF stage, with logistics in place and then finalised at a later date.

Rather than the farce of two Western European teams having to travel to more difficult to reach places.

UEFA doesn’t give a shiiit though.

They are the same as FIFA, only care about money and money only.

Liverpool will be there with a minimum of 25 thousand fans so I’m not worried

I can understand why uefa want to involve the whole of Europe but it'll make more sense to stage it in Western and central Europe

A total of 1,783 miles separates Madrid and Kyiv. Those fans attempting to drive to the final can expect to undertake a 34-hr journey.
=====================
Why does the BBC get to write utter sheite?

1800 miles is the straight line distance. If you drive it's 2300 miles. 34 hours is only if you drive non stop.

2300 miles driving in a somewhat safe manor takes about 3 days.

Agreed.

But after the fact it would be a nice gesture if the clubs would help out.
