Either way it's been a great run

Every year you want your club to move forward and when I look at the likes of Trent, Robertson and the signing of VVD, you can’t deny that our team which was heavily lopsided last year now has a better balance.

As for the CL, I’m desperate for us to win it of course but I’m proud of the lads whatever happened.

The club’s progressing - we just need to keep strengthening and the silverware will follow.

Whatever happens next week I’d say it’s been a good season. We’ve coped with both Europe and the league and still finished top 4. Many predicted we wouldn’t. Our defence has improved since signing VVD. Robertson had been the surprise of the season. Turned out to be an excellent bit of business. Then there’s Mo. What’s left to say about him?

There’s still room for improvement though. I’d like to see us strengthen the depth of the squad. Improve further on 4th. And go further in the domestic cups.
