“We couldn’t execute hoofball properly”

"The 55-year-old Portuguese felt his side missed the physical presence of Romelu Lukaku in attack, with the Belgium striker having started on the bench after recovering from an ankle injury.

"It was a bit hard for us to play without Lukaku against a team that defends with nine players," added Mourinho. "You need that presence.

How about Carlton? Or maybe “lopsided due to the weight of £500k/week in one pocket" Sanchez?

Loads mate. I'm not arguing that we're good to watch. I'm just saying that it's tired and lazy to accuse us or hoofball yesterday when only one team was guilty of it in that match
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I didn’t accuse you of hoofball yesterday, just quoted your manager saying he couldn’t use the hoofball without his big men to hoof it to, therefore implying that it’s his default tactic

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho felt Chelsea did not deserve to win the FA Cup, accusing them of defending with "nine players" in Saturday's final at Wembley.
-----------------------

Which part of this is inaccurate?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s just amusing when Mourinho complains about other teams setting up defensively. As if he’s the king of attacking football himself.

Hoofball is hoofball
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It's really not though. Good ball relies on knock downs and hold up play. We just break lines I'm a thoroughly entertaining way leading to lots of goals.

Pretty basic stuff to understand tbh.

The fact of the matter is that United play crap football, and their mananger doesn’t like it when it’s used against him, yet he also gets the hump when people ask why his teams play crap football.

Certainly dodged a bullet because Sanchez chose to go for money rather than quality of football. I am really glad he did, he would have caused disruption to the 100 POINTS team whereas his prima donna behaviour is par for the course in Salford. Certainly I have seen nothing on the pitch that justifies that kind of money. Pay him more than KDB/Kun/Merlin/Sane? You would have to be certifiable to think that was a good idea. Good job (again) City.
