GMP this morning arrested a young man who had got onto the roof at the Etihad. He had caught the early morning train from Euston clad in his United kit and planned to hang himself with his United/Chelsea half and half scarf. Police we able to talk him down although he was clearly in tears but asked him why he was at the Etihad when surely if he was going to hang himself it would be at the swamp. His reply?
