Although it was a pretty dismal season for our senior team there was a lot of success stories for Chelsea this season.
Another incredible season by the U18's and some strong performances from players out on loan has left us with genuine options who I think can offer something to our squad next season; personally my picks would be:
Loftus-Cheek
Mason Mount
Ethan Ampadu
Michy Batshuayi
Hudson-Odoi
For me, they're the standouts - the ones which would make a positive impact throughout the course of the year.
You could probably make a case for a few more (as listed below) but I don't think they're quite 'Chelsea standard' for next season - or their future looks set elsewhere:
Zouma, Van Ginkel, Musonda, Jay Da Silva, Sterling, Abraham, Reece James and a few more...
What do you think, is there any one already on our books who can become a regular player next season?
I really think we should take use the Europa League and Cup competitions to give these guys a real chance.

Not over Alonso, I don't think Emerson has alot of quality.. he's quick and that's about it

While Ronny is being a bit harsh the desperation for Alonso to be dropped is leading to exaggerations, a bit like how Baba's even worst displays were being passed off as good.

There's more to him than that.
I won't be against replacing Alonso, especially if we move to a back 4, but he is hardly amoungst the Bossy, Baba, ADH group of fullback.

I think Alonso is adequate for the time being, although I think he a poor last couple of games.
The opposite side however, IMO, is one of the two positions that need addressing before pre-season.

Ruben Loftus Cheeks and Michy Batshuayi should get a proper chance in Chelsea first team next season.
