The game is Fortnite ...if you haven't heard of it then you've spent too long waggling your bottom through the big dark hole in the Pipeworks
Kids are addicted to it , so much so that many would sack the task of kicking a ball off a wall outside on your own to play this highly engaging immersive game that involves killing others off to be the number 1
Console's and gaming are killing our football !!
Kids don't meet up after school anymore ....well they do but they meetup in a virtual sense ... online with headsets and all play a game whilst sitting in their houses and eating crisps . Not sure what percentage of kids still go outside after school and at the weekends to meet up with their pals and play football but I would bet that the figures are a fraction of what they were .
Don't get me wrong I would have loved this growing up as a kid but I'm somewhat glad it wasn't available to me .
Let's hope the world cup forces a few to throw down the controller and go and kick a baw!!

Absolute nonsense... kids in Germany france spance italy all have access to these ganes and they seem to be doing just fine when it comes to producing footballers.

True fortnite wasnt available til recently however consoles have been avsilable has been about for three decades now and since day 1 kids have been obsessed with them again they have been available in large quantity all o er the world and other cluntries dont seem to have isdues producing sportsmen.
Look at the hours ppl put into FFVII OR smash tourneys or Goldeneye multiplayer or any other game doom, wolfenstein all were avsilable kids played them for hours everyday.

My ex sold her mountain bike to a wee 10 year old kid on Gumtree. The kid came to the house with his dad and bought the bike. He was a shy wee ginger kid who didn't say much. That night she got messages from the wee kid saying she had a fine arrrse and he would show her a good time. He offered to send her rude pictures as well. Is this normal for a 10 year old?
