Is it true that

liverpool will be buying a few mid fielders this summer and james will find his playing time cut.
more so if they win the CL. signing targets will be a bit easier.
it might be a bit early in his career to take a step down in leagues.

Maybe they'd take 2 of our keepers in part exchange!.

But, but, but - it was a question!

However the fact is now that ‘pool have just agreed to buy another top class midfielder suggests the fact he’s still got a year left on his contract means naff all! He’s now fourth or fifth choice and if he wants to play regular footy then he will leave.

I know it was a question Stoops, but why let facts get in the way of a dig eh?

seriously though, in terms of Milner, yeah I'd love him back but he's still got some good times at the top level for me... thing is, he's really versatile, therefore useful for decent sides, he can play left back, right back, centre mid, right wing. I can see him slotting very nicely into an Everton like team

Or adding some nous to a Wolves side etc..

I'd love to see him back at ER but can't see it.

The Liverpool keeper however, seems Heaven sent....

put Milner in goal.... could he do any worse?

But even if Milner WAS out of contract, you don't seriously think Leeds would be in his top 50 list do you?
