Who will win Roland Garros 2018?

The big question among most tennis fans nowadays is who will win French Open in 2018 which starts from the coming Monday. In men,Rafael Nadal is the overwhelming favourite and in women no one is a clear favourite.I am rooting for Kvitova or Stephens to win French Open this time.I like Angelique Kerber but I am sure that she won't win here.I also like Caroline Wozniacki but she has also not got much chance of winning French Open in my humble opinion.Halep is one who I won't begrudge a title win here having been unlucky in three Grand Slam finals especially in Australian Open 2018 due to her injury and her close match against defwnding champion Jelena Ostapenko.I also don't want Serena Williams to win French Open this time.I like to see Konta to do well but she will be out before the third round I am sure.It would be poor advert for women's game if Serena Williams manages to win French Open this year or even Wimbledon as that would show that she can win Grand Slams without much match practice under her belt.I also woukd like to see Monica Puig play well as she is an entertaining player. One woman I would love to win would be Maria Sharapova who is getting ubdeserved abuse after her drugs ban.She used a medicine but was punished by WTA.So why so much hatred towards her. Also, she is playing really well as shown by her semi-final run in Italian Open last week. In men I want Rafael Nadal to win French Open again but his main challengers arw going to be Dominic Thiem,Alexander Zverev and Novak Djokovic plus Cilic this time with Thiem the closest challenger.I won't mind seeing Zverev or Thiem win French Open this time around.Does anyone agree with me?Fellow tennis fans?Lets elucidate on this theme?

Looks like Rafa might lose v Schwartzman and it might be Muguruza v Stephens in final in women. If Nadal loses,I want either Thiem or Del Potro to win French Open this time.

Well done Thiem for getting into the final, it's clearly his best surface. He may get hammered in the final, but has done well to get there quite comfortably.

The women's finalvl should be worth watching just to see if Halep bottles it again. She should win this time though.

I disagree 9ctics.Sloanne Stephens has got the game to win against Halep tomorrow. Both ladies have played well throughout this tournament and both have great shots in their armoury.

Well done to Halep, very happy for her, she deserved it.

Nice to see that the last 3 Slams, there’s been a new Slam winner. With Stephens, Wozniaki and Halep

I did think the commentary was really biased in favour of Halep on ITV through. Who was that women, was it Bartholi?

I wanted Sloanne Stephens to win but I cannot begrudge Simona Halep's first Grand Slam win.So well done Halep. It looked as if she was very nervous in first two sets from her body language and gestures but she did quite well to win Roland Garros today. So well done Halep and well done Stephens on reaching final of a Grand Slam on her weakest surface i.e. clay.

Reckon Nadal to win the final 6-4 6-4 6-1.

The total score was 18-9 but finished 6-4 6-3 6-2 to Nadal.

Expected Thiem to do a lot better. Yes, Nadal is amazing on clay, but these guys aren’t even challenging him. Man against boys.
