Still gutted about last night , better team won but it could have been different had Salah stayed on .
Anyway real positives , good season good finish to the season and I feel confident that we can push on again next year .importantly last night the back 4 were all excellent . Karius horror show may have a long term benefit in that it’s clear we need a new keeper , had he got through the game without error then I suspect we would still have him as no 1 next year . He has too many potential errors in him and this day was going to happen so better to deal with it and get in someone reliable
Elsewhere if we get Fekir and with Keita then we Prob only need one more if Can goes . Given Klopp is not known for bringing in a lot of players that might be enough remembering we have ox Gomez Clyne Matip and Lallana who will get more time next year
So good season , important window and we go again

Yep a great trophy less season, climbing no higher in the league than the previous year. Still not replaced what everyone knew were 2 Shiiite keepers, and completely reliant on 1 player still.
Next year will be your year.....................again

Cl qualification and a cl final, been a decent season and as u said the gk errors will.mean a new gk has to arrive.
Keita is in bound and hopefullu fekir will join too and i would think another mf/striker as well. Get those and the next final we shoukd be in good shape.

Thought Lovren was immense last night. A lot has been said about his mentality over the years, but he just played arguably his best ever game for us in the biggest game of his career. You can see why Klopp backs him the way he does.

The front three are such a well fu crooning unit I feel when one goes there nothing else close to them thst makes us function the same way.
We practically played the whole season without a genuine back up striker and didn't help we lost Lallana through injury nearly all season and cout I go going and bit being replaced.
We need to imo buy another striker/winger, replacement for coutinho and gk. I Think since vvd came in Lovren may have just saved his lfc career.

Sandy, do you really think it matters that much ? 3rd and 4th are the same and I am sure If we had been in the position that you were in ie nothing else to focus on then we would have made 3rd .

I like spurs , good team playing good football but the obsession with somebody of their fans in finishing above us is strange , it is as though that all that matters to them .they may well have had better seasons than us over the past decade but right now we are in a good place and i still believe the 2 nd best team in the country right now , and yes I know the league table says otherwise , but we do play in more competitions than just the league ( at least some of Us do ! )
