I liked Tony Galvin, another unsung hero, as was Paul Miller.

Steve lived near my brother in Chalfont St Giles, although he came from Ealing.

He had a couple of shops, one in Greenford and one in Hayes. Used to get my football boots off his brother Bill in the Hayes shop and on occasions Steve would be in the shop serving.

He always had time to chat and reminisce about past games. He is a very nice and decent person and if you were ever to call anyone (other than Bill Nicholson) Mr Tottenham, it would be Steve Perryman

His brother bill is a nice bloke too genius

He used to go to the David Lloyd in heston when I was member there.

Hounslow.....................The whole family were down to Earth and very friendly. Bill always greeted you when you entered the shop, asking how my game was and things like that. Lovely fellow
