Very underwhelming. Another lad with potential that will do nothing to help us win trophies or push for the league title. Why can't we sign high profile players for once ? So frustrating

I hear where you coming from Don BUT our best players over the past 3 years have been Kane, Dele, Eriksen, Jan, Toby and Dier. None of who'm cost more than 15mln quid. Compare that to the performance of some of our "High profile/Expensive signings"..... Lamela, Sissoko, Soldado Etc. Granted we have not won anything & i get that's the basis of your argument but If Poch is the foundation on which everything is structured then you have to trust in the scouting based upon current team dynamic & Poch's ability to coach & get the best out of young talented players.... add all that to the financial constraints etc and you can see why this might happen. Look at United for Example..... Are Sanchez/ Pogba that much more important/ influential than the likes of Lingard, Rashford, Phl Jones ?...Expensive.. Yes..... any good.... Not really

I doubt we'll ever move forward with signings like him. For where we are now to get us over the line to winnings things we need proven quality. He may be that in a few years time but by that time our already proven quality players may have left leaving us in more or less the same place we are now, without having won anything in all that time.

We simply aren't showing enough ambition to get us to the next stage. Baldy seems content to just be a top 4 team.

I've not seen that much of Grealish but I can remember the late Ray Wilkins on the radio 1 or 2 years ago discussing him, and he said that Grealish had all the tools to go to the very top.

He rated him very highly, and will have seen him up close from his time at Villa.

Stefan Savić is set to leave Atletico and has experience. Would rather sign him than spend loads on another youngster to replace Toby. Never gonna happen but
