Ok. So I know it's not Derby or Forest related but having watched the 2 friendlies and heard what the players and Gareth Southgate have to say, I genuinely think the England squad will do very well in the World Cup.
They seem to have a great blend of relaxed determination. Southgate is incredibly calm and clearly enjoying his job, as all the players are enjoying theirs.
We aren't going to win the World Cup but, d'ya know what?, I reckon we might just surprise ourselves and make the last 4.
I thought I'd lost my enthusiasm for England but it's coming back.
England ... how far will they go?

It was actually a reference to his legendary girth.
But, on reflection I accept that it was a callous, insensitive, and uncalled for comment. I deeply regret any offence that this may have caused.

I'm sure there are those who prefer a man with a generous girth

The world cup is football in it's purest form. No transfer fees, moving to another country for "a new challenge" etc.
Give me Iran v Nigeria over Real Madrid v Bayern Munich any day.

There were a lot of Cockney accents in the 1990 Eire team though.

To Russia and back?
Is it true the pilot and crew have been told to standby for a quick return flight?
