Vydra to Leeds

Here's hoping it Happy Bielsa Day today

Vydra's a form player; seems odd to say given his Golden Boot last season but he either is scoring or doing nothing at all, often both in the same match.

He'd have been a cert to leave this summer if we'd kept Rowett but under Lamps he may well want to stay and build on last term... Rowett didn't even pick the league's top scorer to start either of the play off semi legs, so that tells you how highly he rated him as a goal-getting team player!

That said, we need to trim the squad and unfortunately we can only sell those who other clubs would like to buy; we may well need to offload Vydra to keep paying for the likes of Butterfield, Blackman, Bryson and Chris Martin who will all be returning from loan spells.

I'd be fine with selling him as long as we don't spunk the resulting cash on lining John Terry's pockets.

I'd prefer we signed Abel Hernandez if it was a straight choice between the 2 but it would be refreshing for us to go for it and sign both

Look carefully Snapski, only a couple of dodgy websites were duped, to most Leeds fans it was more see through than your bird's drawers.

We have around £19m to spend on new players. To sign both would require all of that budget. We still need a playmaker and a CB (Bartley at £6m?) so as much as I’d dream it, I can’t see us signing both. Out of the two I would prefer Hernandez personally. We still need to shift a lot of dross too to get them off the wages books. I’d give most of them away too.

where has the 19m come from?

Peak, was thinking last night that side doesn't need huge changes just a coach who can bring them on.
We need an experienced keeper, RB more than covered (Ayling, Coyle and Bera), LB still weak but Pearce looks a good prospect, Need a good CB to play alongside Pontus and Coops, central midfield looks OK (Vieira, Forshaw and I haven't given up on Klich), Pablo, Roofe, Saiz, Alioski, Roberts. Need a quality striker.
Four players in total, should be achievable with the money you quote.
Should be a good squad.

I agree Elsbels. BPF is good for me to start but we need another ‘good’ keeper for back up and competition. Lonergan isn’t it and Wiedwald should be shipped out as he’s total crap.

Yes, a good coach should make something of what we have. They pretty much gave up after January. Confidence was shot and they simply couldn’t figure out how to win matches. Toothless in attack and short of ideas in midfield
