While I'm delighted we're splashing the cash, 10 million seems a helluva lot. And apparently that doesn't include his wages etc so could be nearer 15 million. Don't get me wrong, hes a fantastic player and if he was 5 million I'd have no qualms. Sends a message through that we mean business. As long as it doesn't mean we're done with our signings for the season.
Armstrong out, McGinn in 👍 Apparently we're also in for Joe Flannigan at right back on a free which I think would be a good signing also. Just a CB after that and I think we're set.

Alison McConnell is Celtic’s go to at the Evening Times and she’s been the one who said Rodgers was hinting that when he rubbished £7 million, it wasn’t because it was lower.
It’s supposed to be £5 million up front, rest is quite a few bonuses and a sell on.

We should be signing one £10m player and a couple cheap £5m prospects each window. Until we have a team good enough to not ship 7 goals when we play anyone that can do a stepover
