Great news

https://www.leedsunited.com/news/club-news/23430/leeds-united-retail-expansion-across-the-city

Finally the club are investing in things.

Sadly for 15 years, the utter skum of owners we have had, Have invested nothing and closed down operations.

Sadly a small number of fans, backed these actions.

Leeds is a monster of a city, its standing in this country is second to London and IMO is making a bold claim for being the second city. The money here is enormous and why the worlds money men haven't had a crack at it is crazy.

Reading the article, will the Merion Centre store become a clearance themed store and Trinity be the store with the latest and greatest full price merchandise? They will be quite close to each other so need to distinguish somehow?

When I visited the store it had that sort of feel to it to begin with.

In my opinion, both it and the ER store were very short on merchandise when I visited in September 2017. Need to stock up if they want to sell lots of product

Having worked in most of the so-called major cities in the UK it goes without saying that Leeds is the centre of the universe. It is the 2nd biggest financial centre and one of the most cosmopolitan too.

A successful Leeds United will only serve to enhance the City's standing here and across Europe.

I'm shocked to see Wakey hasn't invested and more so the revelation that he has closed down operations.

Let's hope we see real progress hereon in.

I find it hard to believe that when I was in the Forces and after when I went home more often than not I found things Leeds United in the sports shops in my home town!..

Last couple of times I was there you couldn't get anything Leeds United, I drove to Elland Road and parted with 120 quid!..

Add petrol then a bit more!..

Why they don't use the outer towns for sales must be losing them sales, I know you used to see Leeds shirts all over the place, that might be a reason you don't see as much anymore!..
