Because it's Ronaldo. The free kick was amazing so that erases from history, the fact he blatantly cheated to win it. Didn't ya know?

I dont watch much of La Liga but from what Ie read Messi does it more often in the league and Ronaldo is not as good. But Ronaldo is better on the big stage, internationals and the CL. Its the old argument of can do it week in week out against can you do it on the big stage.

DeGea is rubbish now. He should have saved the free kick too. Although he can't see the ball until late, there's only one place it can go and it has to travel slowly to get there. Distance from goal, wall and angles considered keeper of his experience should have known to just dive for the top corner. He would have saved it if he had. That match would be the end of his World Cup if I was managing the Spanish side.
