Both are great players but I musta have been watching a different game from the commentators and loads of the Internet.

Cause I’ve read and heard so many people saying it was one of the greatest ever performances at a World Cup.

And it just wasn’t, he played well and getting a Garrick is always an achievement.

But, his first goal was a penelty, his secret nd the keeper went all Fenix and should have saved it easily.

Third was a cracking free kick but that alone was not enough to make a good game for him the best ever...

Seen Messi fail on the International big stage too
many times. And Ronaldo succeed so many times
(and he's surrounded by a lesser team) to know
where I'd start my #1 & #2 rankings.
