every game so far at the World Cup? And do they intend to watch every minute of every game? If so fair play, but it can get a bit tedious watching football 24/7. I have watched a couple of games through their entire 90 minutes, and glanced at a bit of the other games.
Today I have caught about 10 minutes of the Serbia game, will only watch bits of the Germany game, may watch the whole of the Brazil v Switzerland match. Tomorrow evening is an obvious must watch with England playing, and I shall probably also watch Belgium, because they have Toby, Verts as starters and Dembele in the squad, also because they are part of the England group.
I have to say it has not been a bad World Cup so far, Spain for me being the stand out team so far, and also I was quite impressed with Peru, even though they lost.

I've actually managed to watch quite a bit of it so far, but far too busy to sit and watch every game. We don't all spend our time sat in the library waiting for free cups of tea, or hassling the builders down at new WHL about being behind schedule Sandy! Obviously DJ will watch every minute of it, sat on his stool in the Irish bar the facking delinquent, and that mincing pant sniffer Gunther will be in his parents attic with 15 TV's and lap tops on the go at once like a German David Bowie in The Man Who Fell to Earth.

Ace, I still have a library book I borrowed in 1959, the history of the FA Cup. It`s one of my favourite books, and gives a good account of the FA Cup up until the 1959 season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
At 5p a day in overdue fees I'd wager you owe the library over a grand Sandy!

It was the school library Ace.I have often wondered if I should return it.

No wonder schools are suffering

Schools were not suffering in 1959.

Answer to Sandy's question: No, not me, not I. I will only watch the good games.
And the ones that have Spurs players in them!
That means I have to watch Tunisia V England.
Oh deary deary me!

I'm now up to date on all games having set up my tivo to record every game. The football has been largely enjoyable. The absolute worst part has been the commentary and punditry. Sorry, but itv has been awful. Lee Dixon has to be one of the most arrogant gits ever.

I have the sound down. The pundits before, during and after are absolutely carp. I just watch the match, none of the build up, and none of the summing up. They just talk bolllllox 24/7. Most of them are failed managers, or ex players that have never had the guts to try management. Yet they talk like they are multiple trophy winning managers.

You're not wrong Sandy. I used to put the radio on while watching the telly but with HD and UHD the lag now is ridiculous. I cant see why they just cant give us a crowd noise only option or a no pundit, no opinion commentary.

Back in the early days of Sky first showing the PL and only costing £3 a month, they gave you the option of crowd only by selecting the audio choice on the old Amstrad boxes - I think it only lasted a season or two
