Lol the tactic is not going to work. The media's angle this year is tricking them into thinking there is no expectation, in turn meaning they can win it, because there is no expectation, which means they can win it, because they is no expecatation, they're expected to win it, because there is no expectation. England will win the world cup. There is no expectation.

The "Tranny" reference was for Eric's benefit (stretford ender 85). But yes without Ronaldo they look very average.

Spain completely outplayed Portugal,only one player turned up for them,a very fortunate draw.

This is all going a little bit 2002, I expect atleast 1 of the big boys out in the group stage and a couple in the last 16.

Germany and Brazil might now meet in the last 16, which throws open England's side of the draw, play it right and we won't meet an elite team until the SF. We ballsed it up in 2002 by drawing with Nigeria and therefore having to play Brazil in the QF, whereas a win would have seen us avoid Brazil until the semis.

Having said this, we will probably lose tonight
