Seeing lots of reports citing L'Equipe, who have claimed Spurs have opened talks with Lyon with an offer somewhere in the region of £30-35m for Tanguy Ndombele. Supposedly Lyon are holding out for closer to £50m.
Obviously take a healthy pinch of salt as ever, but I've only seen reports of a concrete pounds-and-pennies offer for one other player this summer, which was Grealish, and that link seems legitimate. Still difficult to really believe this one as he's exactly the player Spurs should go after to replace Dembele, and since when do Spurs go for the right players?
We shall see.
In other news it looks like Rafael Toloi from Atalanta is the centre half of choice, currently, to replace Alderweireld if he leaves. But that seems less likely now United don't appear willing to pay £75m for him. They've also quoted Martial at £75m so that one seems dead too unless a swap happens.
Supposedly Fekir has been offered to Spurs after his Liverpool move fell through due to the medical showing up a dodgy knee. Not sure what to make of that one - £60m seems a lot to pay for a player with a known injury concern.
Lastly, it sounds like Malcom's agents are in talks with Liverpool and Spurs, price being quoted around the £44m mark.
Could all be booooollocks as usual. Come on England!

Haven’t seen him play but I’ve heard he’s quite good; which means it’s highly unlikely we’ve made a bid this early at that cost. We’d rather fack about with average English players who can’t even boss the championship.

Never heard of him. But with a name like Ndombele I can tell even without seeing him that he will be an absolute waste of money. Njie and Nkoudou I called a waste of money within five minutes of seeing both of them.
