I was joking, of course, though it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to say that our style leaves him isolated in bigger games and having no genuine wingers doesn’t help him either.

I believe he is a good enough forward to build our team around.

This guy can score goals, he has done all his career. We are lacking wingers as Clockwork Red has mentioned. We should play more to his style.

A good read.

One bit at the end that caught my attention is that he says he is learning how to run into space from Henry.

Hopefully this could be good for us.

I wasn't that excited by his signing but it's always good to have outstanding professionalism in the team. If he has something comparable to the drive of and determination to improve of Ronaldo (if not the talent) he could still develop a long way as a player. I thought his appreciation of space improved as the season went on, and his first touch went from sub-Rooney to better than late-career Rooney. Long may this improvement continue.

Oh, and that kind of attitude hopefully rubs off on the younger players competing to share the field with him or take his starting spot.

No one has ever questioned the lads attitude and application, albeit he does come across lazy on the pitch art times. Ability wise, you can see signs of improvement in his hold up play and kink up, but he still has a way to go in my opinion

I still don't believe he nor Pogba have justified the fees paid for them. I would love it if both prove me wrong.

They don't have to justify their fees; they only have to justify their wages.

Only the club has to justify their fees.

Justify both.
