just saying its a bit difficult to win the ball from a oppo player and win it in a way to not bring them down when your sliding,

Of course there is. The VAR is the person who tells the ref to review his decision. Why would he do that if he wasn't clear?

I got there a long time ago. Explain how the defender won the ball from the opponent, even the opponent got the ball after the defenders slight touch.

are you seriously implying every decision referred by var is clear? because that's what that sentence is implying, if every decision stopped by var is clear then I guess we wont see anything not overturned then?

Great tackle, even though it didn't intercept the pass or stop the attacker getting the ball.

Oh, you are a Liverpool fan - yeah, was great comparatively speaking...

Not a pen for me, the defender did enough to achieve what you set out to achieve when slide tackling. He won the ball first which forced a miscontrol by the opposition which went to safety of the keepers hands no chance of him getting there before the keeper. You can't punish him for a follow through milliseconds after winning the ball and in mid slide simple as that for me.
