The old boys had a remarkable international record. None of the new generation match up to it. Lewandowski and Dzeko are the only one who's record comes close, of the ones still playing international.
And I see the OP conveniently left out Messi.
Impressed by RvP's record considering how often he was injured for and used to play on the wings for quite a bit at the start.

I made this list to show ronaldo is on par with pukas with most international goals
Second of all Messi is on the list if you click on the link
Finally Messi is on 65 international goals while ronaldo is close to 90 so when Messi is top 3 goal scorers internationally then I will mention him. Btw this wasn’t one of those ronaldo/Messi articles
