Didnt we just get a new keeper for the kids recently and I know the big Pole U23 Miatz (something like that) is highly regarded and was supposed to replace BPF when he was sent out to Sweden. So not sure of how we will be looking keeper wise now.

Felix did the ball control distribution thing brilliantly so we could break out from the back at pace, he could throw it long and kick long, he just couldnt stop flapping. So I guess Bielsa prefers a keeper like that just like Spurs and Man City who got rid of Hart. Can BPF do it?

BFP is miles and miles better on the ball than Felix

Felix couldn’t kick it to the half way line. Once teams sussed us out and pushed up on retreated with the ball back to Felix and his 30-40m kicks were then mopped up by bigger stronger opposition players often putting us under danger.

I have at no point said Pennington was a great player. I've been very critical of him throughout the season. I think Wiedwald is a capable keeper that has had his confidence destroyed and believed he should leave for months.

I think Lonergan is what you want in a second/third choice keeper. Good experience and a stable head.

People can change opinions on things. They don't expect to be stalked because of it.

Months? We are only into June and you stated over and over without ever giving a reason that one should never change gks in January. Still puzzles me to this day. You were happy to keep him in goal until the end of season yet you now claim you wanted him changed for months.

Of course people can change opinion but you stated you are a football man with superior knowledge. Seems strange to make a u-turn so quickly on players you stated were good enough.

Felix throwing was ok...ish.
But did you ever see him taking a goal kick?
His trajectory was way too flat, so he got no distance on it. If a keeper is kicking long, the ball has to go half way into the opposing half to put their midfield and back four under pressure. Felix couldn’t do this and opposing teams figured it out quickly, like most of us here. So the ball was back deep into our half putting us under pressure and losing posession. Hs kicking was truly awful. His technique was at fault.

Felix cost us so many games.

For me football is won by 1 or 2 world class players. Equally lost by 1 or 2 sht ones.

Take England last night. Can pack the team full of ok pros like Lingaard and Maguire but it's your world class Kane who wins you the match.

Equally Felix was terrible. It is scary to think how many games he lost us. Not just in mistakes but in the uncertainty he cost the defence and midfield around us.
