Jordan Henderson

Man of the match for me! Kept things ticking, stuck his foot in and pushed the team forward to victory!
Kane will get the plaudits but for me Hendo ran the show

👏👏👏👏👏👏

Completed 6 out of 7 attempted long balls as well including a great ball to Dele for the early Lingard chance. Jordan

He did all right in spells I thought and if he can refine that role a bit and we can get a bit more movement in front of him he'll be very useful I reckon.

In general i don't rate Henderson atall but anyone who thinks he didn't play well yesterday need to follow a new sport.

Don’t think anyone is saying Henderson was amazing or MOTM. However he did a job in midfield. Think he performed well although the whole team dropped off second half.

Our performance was very Liverpool last year. High press, quick tempo chance creating that runs out of legs if we don't take our chances.

But like most people I think Henderson was decent ladt night and performed his role well.

Im not Hendersons biggest fan but I watched the game with a group of Man U and Chelsea fans, as i live in the south, and everyone pretty much agreed he was easily one of our strongest players.
He seemed assured and didnt lose the ball, whilst having the balls to actually try forward passes too.
He was also strong with pressing but you kinda expect that with the way they play.
People calling him out for this game are just mad imo, especially when so many players were poor.
Walker was at fault for the penalty, and I saw Harry Kane got MOTM, despite him having 2 touches all game from 2 yards out :D
Important goals and a skill to be in the right place, but seems pretty crazy really.
Ali was not in the game at all, but he did have an injury it seemed 1st half, and Lingaard seemed a bit caught up in the occasion with Sterling and afraid to try anything...which i can kinda understand.
I have slated Henderson but he was calm and collected, and stood out to me, and others i watched the game with.
Its mad everyone gets hyped for England but cant put their club bias away, cos even if i was dropping players on that performance he would be one of the last to get replaced.
