I said this the other day. He's a solid player. He will not let anyone down. Retains possession. But PLEASE GOD will he just receive the ball on the half turn, get his head up and play a telling pass.

We had Alli, Lingard, Sterling all ahead of him all trying to find pockets of space and I dont think he found them once with a telling pass. SO often sideways and backwards and little awareness of what space he was in and what was ahead of him. 1 very good cross field pass to find Trippier in space but little else springs to mind.

I feel when we started to stagnate in that game that the lack of a real quaility CM was the key reason. This will be the thing that limits our progress.

It was good to see the likes of Mcguire stepping forward with the ball. Walker did not do enough of that IMO. At times we could have really overloaded the right side to work some openings but it didnt happen enough.

Win was the important thing tho. Harry Kane Hopefully we earn and build from there
