All signings in areas that Arsenal fans would have wanted the club to work on if I’m not mistaken? I think Lichsteiner will bring experience and leadership that has been sorely missed at your club and Torreira and Leno are both talented players who add to the team. You must be happy with the change in transfer policy now Emery is in. These deals normally take you through to the last day of the window.

I haven't seen Torreira play and don't want to seem judgemental, but my one worry is his size. He's only 5'6", and although you can be small and still be combative and tough, he is SMALL. I would be interested to see how he does in that role in a well-known physical league.

Yeah who knows if they’ll all be quality players for us or not, but they are certainly addressing areas that have needed strengthening for ages, and it’s all been sorted quite quickly. Often Took Arsenal under wenger ages to get deals done, and most seasons our squad wasn’t ready until deadline day, which by then the season had started. Good to see us finally getting our key signings done before the squad return to training, hopefully allowing plenty of time for them to bed in. Could do with a proper winger next, then that’s pretty much most problem areas addressed with at least 1 signing. I expect now we’ll see a few players depart soon, if anyone will take them!

He's half an inch taller then N'Golo Kante

Only set pieces worry me about him due to being short really.

He's the same height as Claude Makalele!

Thing abt teams that Mascherano, Kante and Makalele played in were that they had plenty of height elsewhere to make up for it in those players. We don't.

This is something that Emery will learn about the premier league. Whilst there are teams that play nice silky football on the ground there are also teams like Burnley who perfect their style to win. That is not true in Liga or France where that type of boring football would be frowned on. Even the most physical team in Spain like Atletico would be considered silky, smooth passing side compared to Burnley.

How big are Xhaka, Ramsey, Sokratis, Lichtsteiner and Leno?

Xhaka, Ramsey and Bellerin are not good in the air. You have to look at our defence last season. Sokratis and his partner CB are obviously going to be our main protectors. Leno is 6ft 2 so hopefully he will command our box. It is an issue, let's not deny it. I am certainly very happy we signed Torreria. We have needed a decent holding player since Gilberto left. It will need to be resolved and I have confidence in Emery to solve it.

Poor signing, I expect him to flop like Zhaka
