Foden

Wondered if the Pep & Poch love in
over Bielsa would open the door to some
City & Spurs loans. According to twitter
rumours, it has. Foyth and flippin' Foden.

Foyth looks a good prospect. But, Foden?
Would love it. That lad will tear up the
Championship. Hope it happens.

Foden isn’t going anywhere to be cover, might has well stay at Man City

You can’t just sign players just in case players get injured, the squad needs to be trim, no more than 25/26

Saiz, Roofe, Pablo and maybe Vydra

How many players we want !!!!!!

has to be quality over quantity this time, and for the positions we need to strengthen too.

that said, you do need a squad, and if we can an amazing player on loan regardless of position, I think we should take it.

We could do with buying 3 top players through the middle of the side. See how the rest of the team looks around them.

Top centre forward, centre mid, and centre back would transform the team and improve the players around them.

Foden not really the player we need in the spine unfortunately. Liked the look of Freeman at QPR in a poor side but not seen enough of him to say lets go with that. Very composed on the ball and great passer. Looks like a player that would bring a front 3 of Pablo, Hernandez(or whoever) and Saiz into the game all the time.

I like the forward options with that if we have Roofe as a sub and if Roberts can play a part. As well as the possibility that Ekuban gets some confidence.

Alioski and Dallas are not bad options for the bench but next priority would be to add some proper pace as a wide option. Roofe is not a winger.

All that would be left if the right man comes available is a left back and keeper but wouldn't sign anyone there for the sake of it to hinder the progress of the two young lads.

It might be best to see what the new team boss thinks, people are looking at loans but I'd think it better if he identifies who he sees as who can make his way work, we might have players at the club now that people have already slammed and when he swaps one or two about and works with them they could be perfect for what he wants!..

It'd be better him seeing who's who and bringing in who he "knows" can do his work for him, but it shouldn't be with loan players because its meant to be a team for the long term that'll work for each other and will only be replaced if better come along!..

Loans are not a problem if we go up. If we go up half of the players wont be good enough anyway and will need replacing. The problem with loans is if we don't go up we have to start all over again next season, whereas good buys give us something to build on. Huddersfield proved it can be done, the problem is that they would have struggled last season in the Championship if they missed promotion as they wouldnt have been able to keep any of the previous years squad

A reason I wrote "will only be replaced if better come along"!..

Problem is if we take season long loans and are promoted, unless they're good enough and we get to keep them, it means some of our players have to be replaced and the loan players to!..

We should be building around our players and hope when it gets to it they're good enough to make the club bring better in!..

Id not be against a Foden loan. Lad was good enough to get on the bench for a fair few Man City games last season. Saiz wouldnt get in their 3rd team.
