J.D. Martinez

With rumours beginning to surface during the summer transfer window, details are emerging that FSG owned Boston Red Sox used the Coutinho sale money to fund their acquisition of $110m man J.D. Martinez.

The move was completed just days after the Catalan giants wire transferred the funds to the American owners. Martinez, 30, hit 45 homers with a major-league-leading .690 slugging percentage in 2017 and is a great coup for the Boston MLB side.

The question on all Red Sox fans lips this summer is which LFC assets will FSG look to offload to keep pushing their main sports franchise towards MLB silverware.

With huge interest surrounding Mo Salah after his breakthrough season FSG may look to cash in on the Egyptian King as uncertainty grows over his recovery from a dislocated shoulder suffered during Liverpool's chastising defeat in the Champions League final could turn the Egyptian from King to Jester with one tumble.

Nearly spent money... Like nearly won the champions league. I hear Tim Howard is available... He would be a much more solid option to what you have now

Probably. Although he already failed at a big club, too much pressure. He found it much easier at Everton's level.

Considering Barca are paying in instalments, this story might just be made up drivel by some bitter, sad virgin. 😂😂😂
