I am really enjoying watching Batshuayi's cameo for Belgium. He's got all the attributes you need to be a great striker, and yet somehow in the past 5 minutes he's managed to miss 3 virtually open goals. Incredible.

He's a good striker and I really hope he's with us next season. How he missed all those chances today is bad luck.

I have the same view on him, on paper he has everything needed to be a good striker but on pitch he can be all over the place

Haha - yes, he must be the unluckiest player in the world based on those misses. But he did go on to score a more difficult chance than all the others. I'm really torn when it comes to Batshuayi - I hope he is given another chance at Chelsea, but I'm not entirely confident he will prove his doubters wrong. A new manager will probably help though - I think he needs someone to give him confidence, which Conte couldn't seem to do.

That wasn’t bad luck it was bad finishing.

Bats is a good finisher, he has proven that. It is his link up play and ability to keep possession with his back to goal whilst having a hairy CB up his arris that is in question. Until he improves that part of his game I can’t see him playing as a CF leading the line.

Batshuayi is like Solomon Kalou or Andre Schurrle fit as a supersub for Chelsea. He has got talent and he can be frustrating but a good player to make inpact on a match's outcome.
