Scotland should cheer on England

On Thursday night, simply because if they do win they wont get any further than the QFs as I would expect them to face Germany or Brazil (if they get past Colombia/Senagal

they lose they face Japan then probably Mexico who they would stand a better chance of beating

So come on my fellow haggis munching, ginger bassas lets support them for one night only so we can watch them being utterly pumped by a Brazil or Germany

Imagine if we won the World Cup. The Scots and the Welsh would be creaming themselves to get a GB team formed so they could have one player each involved (emergency subs, if that) and claim a bit of international glory too.

It’s 20 years since Scotland went to a World Cup. In that time people in Scotland have been born, grew up, had kids and now are looking forward to taking the grandkids away in the summer break.
