Martinez saying he will make changes, so I hope that he keeps Kompany and KDB away from the awful Dirty Alli and his leg breaker 'tackles'. Presume Delph and Rose will get some game time, both of whom need to play better than they did against Panama, I'd like to see Walker at RWB rather than CB where he really is exposed. Trippier has done pretty well but Walker is better I would think. Vardy and TAA need some game time and Sterling needs some confidence.

From the top of my head Dele had one bad challenge vs KDB and one vs that Europa boy?
Harry Kane put in a shocker in the same game vs City and a shocker in the opening game Newcastle were he injured their CB for months.
I wonder what the difference is...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane on Sterling was a shocker but it felt as if it was a terrible 'forwards tackle' rather than a premeditated over the ball tackle.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably because of perception of the player more than anything.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
also the velocity that it was delivered with, Kane's was relatively slow, like he was tired having been given the runaround all afternoon.

Scholes was reckless at times, but pundits always used to make up some good excuses. Alli on the other has not been receiving the same treatment.

Alli's wasn't particularly forceful, I thought.

When City played Spurs last season, Alli launched a savage assault on De Bruyne and likewise, Kane nearly crippled Sterling.
A repeat of that could happen tonight.

He hasn't scored but he has contributed in other ways thankfully. If it is only about goals then all apart from Kane Stones and Lingard are on the plane home. I'm not defending his conversion rate but there is more to it than that.
